Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Alaa Nafi Jassim, Director of the Center, the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage / University of Baghdad organized on Sunday morning, corresponding to 3/10/2024, and in the presence of a number of the Center’s employees, a workshop entitled (Combat Administrative Corruption) to lecture M. M. Hana Ali Ibrahim, lecturer at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad / Department of Legal Affairs. Knowing administrative corruption is an apparent sin that ravages the body of society. It is the misuse of public office to achieve private gain, which is a deviation in behavior such as bribery, theft, and wasting money. Then I mentioned the types of corruption, including moral corruption and administrative corruption. And financial corruption, and others, as it referred to the causes of corruption, including the spread of poverty and ignorance, lack of knowledge of individual rights, weak regulatory bodies, low salaries for employees, and personal reasons. Then it added ways to combat corruption, which are simplifying work procedures, conducting periodic transfers between employees, and adopting standards of competence and experience in dividing jobs.
