The magazine is a step forward.. The Center for the Revival of the Arab Scientific Heritage has been devising the means to activate the scientific work in a way that results in the development and advancement of the Center. Today, the center’s magazine is progressing a step towards self-reliance according to the available capabilities, as the center’s workers will undertake the printing process (composition, artistic production and binding) and with self-financing. It is a step worthy of appreciation and praise and opens up broad horizons for the required scientific investment. In order for this step to be strengthened, it should be supported by steps from the university authorities through moral and material support and preparing the requirements for its success. According to God, the workers in the magazine, led by Prof. Editor-in-chief Fatima Zbar Onaizan, because she is the active and perpetual engine of this flowing activity, and God grants success.
The Center has issued early since its establishment a magazine in the name of the Journal of the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage. It is a refereed scientific journal issued by the Center affiliated to the University of Baghdad.
The Center issued a bulletin in the name of the Bulletin of the Center for the Revival of Arab Heritage, the first of which was issued in 1984 and the second in 1985. Then the Center re-issued the magazine in 2001, as it issued the third issue in 2001 and the fourth issue in 2001. Then it was withheld after 2003 and 2006 and now the center has re-issued it and is currently issuing the magazine continuously.

Rules for publishing in journal:
1-it takes care of publishing researches that concern with Arabic heritage and scientific studies.
2-the search must be written in asubject that must not presented before in any journal.
3-the srach must print on (cd ) in words2007 and the page layout must on size 17,5cm×25cm,the size of the letter must 14writes in times new roman , the subtitle must be in bold wheras the main title must in 16 size , the references and sources must in 12 size .
4-the search mst contain references and sources and must documented according to scientific documentation and put them at the end of search.
5-the journal language is Arabic .
6-the search must contain arabic and English abstract with mention the name of the researcher and the title of search ,pages of the search does not increase more than 30 .
7- photos maps and shapes may attach with photos .
8-presented searches presented to specialist experts .
9-he researchers pay printing fees according to journal instructions .
10-the researcher receives a copy of the magazine with three clips
11-The journal is not obligated to return research to its owners, whether published or not
12-the published searches expresses the editors opinion .
Published year : the journal started publish in 1977 but it stops for some years then it continuous since2009 .

Five issues were issued from the magazine during the years 1977-2007, and the sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth issues were issued in 2009, to be renumbered in an annual sequence in 2010, when four issues were issued, and the same in 2011, and since 2012 it became a quarterly issue of which two issues are issued in every year.
