On Wednesday morning, June 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM, Asst. Prof. Dr. Laith Majeed Hussein, Director of the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad, held a meeting with the Scientific Committee and heads of the scientific departments at the Center to discuss scientific preparations for the 2026 research year. During the meeting, a number of proposed research projects for the next academic year were reviewed, as well as the most important priority research topics and mechanisms for supporting and encouraging scientific research within the Center. The plan for scientific activities for the same year was also addressed, including seminars, workshops, and a study of the annual scientific conference, which enhances the Center’s role in developing knowledge and serving the academic, cultural, and heritage community. During the meeting, the Center’s Director emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts among all parties and committing to quality and innovation in preparing and implementing scientific plans. The meeting concluded with a number of recommendations that would enhance scientific research and ensure the achievement of the desired goals for the year 2026.
