A Delegation from Babil Visits the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad to Strengthen Cultural and Scientific Cooperation
The Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad welcomed a cultural and scientific delegation from Babil Governorate on the morning of Monday, 22 December 2025, as part of a visit aimed at building bridges of cooperation and exchanging expertise in research and heritage fields.The Center’s administration greeted the delegation and provided an overview of the Center’s work and scientific mission. In appreciation of the Center’s heritage and scholarly role, the visiting delegation presented a special edition of the journal “Afaaq Furatia” to the Center.
The delegation was headed by Retired Jawad Abdul-Kadhim Mohsen, member of the General Union of Writers and Authors in Iraq, accompanied by Lawyer Ahmed Majid Al-Hassan, legal advisor. During the visit, extensive discussions were held regarding the Center’s research publications, books, and journals, as well as the civilizational heritage preserved by the Center and the responsibility of maintaining and enhancing it.
At the conclusion of the visit, both sides expressed satisfaction with the productive dialogue and agreed on future joint collaborations, including cultural activities and research seminars aimed at documenting scientific heritage and supporting the cultural movement in the country.
