The Quality Assurance Unit, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Bashayer Mouloud, a faculty member at the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage / University of Baghdad, organized a workshop on the morning of Monday, 15 December 2025, at 10:30 a.m., entitled “Sustainable Development on Campus: A Vision through the Green Metric Ranking.” The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members of the Center and was held in Professor Nabila Abdul Moneim Dawood Hall, as part of ongoing efforts to promote concepts of environmental sustainability within the university campus.The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Samer Badri Salman Al-Badri from the College of Agriculture / Department of Agricultural Sciences / Agricultural Machinery and Equipment, who spoke about the concept of sustainable development and its importance in the university environment. He also introduced the Green Metric ranking, its main criteria, and its role in evaluating universities’ performance in areas such as green infrastructure, energy and water management, emissions reduction, waste management, and sustainability-related education and scientific research.
