The Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad organized a seminar on the morning of Tuesday, 9 December 2025, in Professor Nabila Abdul Moneim Dawood Hall, entitled “Balancing Work and Personal Life between the Past, the Present, and the Digital Age.” The session was delivered by Professor Dr. Taha Sabti Ibrahim, a researcher and faculty member at the Center, and highlighted the importance of achieving a healthy balance in an increasingly complex world characterized by the rapid pace of life and growing work demands.

The speaker explained that achieving a balance between professional and personal life has become an urgent necessity for success and stability, especially amid the mounting pressures of the digital age, where the boundaries between work and personal life are no longer as clear as they once were.

The panel aimed to highlight the main obstacles to achieving balance, such as work pressures, crowded daily commitments, and the psychological and social effects resulting from the excessive use of modern technologies. The researcher also discussed future plans that could help achieve balance, foremost among them enhancing individuals’ psychological, emotional, and social stability.

He concluded by noting that balance is no longer a secondary option but has become a fundamental element of quality of life, emphasizing the need to adopt practical strategies that contribute to supporting mental health and managing time effectively.
