The Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage held a special celebration in 11th of December 2025, in Professor Nabila Abdul Moneim Dawood Hall, to mark Iraqi Victory Day and to commemorate the sacrifices of the security forces that contributed to the liberation of the country on its eighth anniversary. The event was attended by a number of professors, researchers, and staff members of the Center. The ceremony opened with the playing of the national anthem and the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha for the souls of Iraq’s martyrs. Professor Dr. Anas Issam Ismail then presented a speech on behalf of the Center’s Director, Professor Dr. Laith Majid Hussein, in which he emphasized the importance of this national occasion and the profound meanings it holds in the modern history of Iraq. This was followed by a speech by Dr. Liqaa Shaker Al-Sharifi, which included poetic excerpts expressing the spirit of resilience and defiance, and commemorating the heroism of Iraqis who stood against terrorism. Subsequently, a video presentation was shown, depicting the destruction caused by terrorist gangs in contrast to the victories achieved and the heroic deeds recorded by the sons of Iraq.

At the conclusion of the celebration, the Center’s administration presented the Shield of Creativity and Excellence to the families of the martyrs, in honor of their sacrifices and in recognition of what their loved ones offered in defense of the homeland
