Sponsored by the ministry of culture ,tourism and Antiquities in cooperation with the French Institute and the Goethe Institute in Iraq, with the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, the general directors, a number of members of parliament, and representatives of foreign embassies, Assistant Professor Dr. Laith Majeed Hussein, Director of the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad, participated in the (Tigris Nights Films) Festival, which was held on the grounds of the Abbasid Palace, where short Iraqi, German, and French films were shown that deal with the idea of peace and violence in society.that was happened on Tuesday 13thof May 2025. He expressed his interest in this festival because of its ancient heritage importance.
