Dr. Leqaa Shaker Khattar The lecture focused on how democracy in any country is measured by the cultural, social and economic level reached by women in general and women with disabilities in particular and the extent of their participation in political life and political decision-making. As a result of the male authority that societies have known, including Iraq, history has witnessed various types There are multiple forms of discrimination against women that differ from one country to another, and this has prompted women in Iraq to demand their rights, especially the right to education, employment, and equality in treatment according to special regulations that are afforded to girls with disabilities and the material guarantees that are afforded to girls. Then a lecture by Dr. Rasha Karim Ali, a teacher at our center, and the title of her research is (People with special needs and the disabled in Iraq between reality and challenges) Speaking about people with special needs, God Almighty created human beings with different levels of health and abilities, and He made each of them need the other. The term “people with special needs” was applied to those who lack one of the senses that affects their lives, instead of the word “disabled” because of its impact. Negative effects on them, and interest in this deprived group of people has increased recently, and many countries have resorted to allocating their own organizations that take into account their affairs and meet their needs, such as the United Nations. In the past, such people were viewed in an unfavorable light, and many try Avoid them. There are some families who used to imprison their children. Therefore, they did not find an opportunity for them to live their lives normally, but with the increased spotlight on them, they began to live their lives like healthy people and obtain their full rights. The United Nations has issued charters that guarantee their protection and secure means of a decent life for them, as it is their natural right to enjoy life as people. Healthy people…

Reyadh Saied Lateef (one of the center’s professors) who talked that Weight pulling machines are of great importance due to their obvious influence on the development of science and technology. Ancient Arab scientists and engineers used these machines widely in various fields such as mechanical engineering and physics.

In the field of mechanical engineering, weight-pulling machines contributed to developing Arab scholars’ understanding of important concepts such as cranes. The scientists studied the effect of forces, movement, and balance on ancient Arab machines for pulling weights, and presented modern mechanical principles and foundations that govern the design and construction of machines. In the field of physics, Arab scientists used machines to pull weights as a means of exploring and understanding the laws of motion and forces. They conducted experiments to measure the force, time, and distance required to pull weights, and used this data to develop theories in the field of dynamics and principles of movement. In short, weight-pulling machines are an important element in the Arab scientific heritage. Contributed to the development of mechanical engineering and physics. These machines were used in experiments, research, and practical applications, and contributed to the greater transfer of scientific knowledge and techniques to the Western world and their contribution to the advancement of science and technology in general.

The center of heritage revival organizes workshop (Maryam Bint Alatar)

under the supervision of Professor Dr. Alaa Nafi Jassim, the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage organized  a workshop entitled(Maryam Bint Al-Attar) , on Monday 5/6/2024. The lecture was given by Professor Dr. Wijdan fareeq Enad (one of the teaching team at our center). Knowing Maryam bint Al-Attar is a historical figure about whom very little and brief information is provided, hardly enough to draw a clear picture of her. It is a general characteristic of the personalities who lived through the last period of the Islamic presence in Andalusia. There are quite a few names that we find influential in historical events, but the sources are silent about explaining their biography, including the leader Musa bin Abi Al-Ghassan, to name but a few. From the fragments scattered in the depths of the novels, the researcher in history, by applying the historical research method, tries to complete the weaving of the threads, trying to find an image, even if it is vague, about it. Sometimes the researcher loads these summaries more than they can bear, thus moving away from the historical truth to a great extent. Among these is Maryam bint Al-Attar, about whom there is no information in the sources except to the extent that makes the student of the history of that time period surprised by what social media publishes about her, which is dominated by repetition and imagination without reference to the sources of the information mentioned.

The center of heritage revival organizes seminar

( healthy dangerous of climate between heritage and contemporary) Supervised by the director of the center of heritage revival prof. Dr. Alaa Nafea Jasim , the center organizes a seminar entitled ( healthy dangerous of climate between heritage and contemporary) , the seminar is presented by Msc. Was an Adel Abdulwahab (one of the center’s professors who talks that n the past, health risks associated with climate change included the spread of infectious diseases such as high fever and plague as a result of changes in temperature and the growth of bacteria and viruses that cause diseases. There were also risks of drought and lack of clean water. Which led to nutritional deficiency and the spread of water diseases. The impacts of climate change on public health require coordinated efforts to develop strong and sustainable health responses.

Thermal extremes, whether extreme cold or high temperature, will lead to organic physiological disorders in humans and thus illness or death. One of the proven outcomes of climate change is an increase in the rate of disease and death rates associated with heat, mainly heat waves that cause stress, as excess heat causes heat stress that increases the severity of illness and death rates.

Today it is a group of large hills with some ruins indicating that it was built with bricks and mud. The General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage, for the first time in 1999 AD, excavated selected points for four seasons that continued until 2002 AD, during which it revealed successive cultural floors represented by residential layers consisting of groups of building units, in which various archaeological finds were found, some of which were pottery jars, others glazed, saws, and tools. Stone, copper and glass for various uses, as well as Abbasid gold, silver and copper coins

The center of heritage revival organizes seminar

UThe center of heritage revival organizes seminar ence of a number of professors and researchers, and in the hall of Professor Nabila Abdel Moneim Samnar, entitled (The Benefit of Deviation in the Prophetic Hadith) Al-Sharif) The seminar was delivered by Dr. Iman Saleh Mahdi, a lecturer at our center, who spoke in Arabic. The Arabic language is characterized by its great accuracy in expressing meanings, and the breadth of expressive space it possesses. It is also characterized by its tremendous ability to generate meanings, diversify them, and intensify them. Words do not live in isolation from each other. Rather, their life is based on the relationship of their presence with each other, meaning that they are subject to the context that determines their meaning and dictates their precise use. Because we do not speak in single words, but in sentences and phrases, and the apostasy was one of those methods that increased the eloquence of the Qur’an and its influence on the souls of its listeners.  Then I knew the enemy was him Al-Khalil said: “Justice is to turn something away from its face and tilt it. I turned it away from such-and-such, and I turned away from the way.” Al-Jurjani said: “Justice, in the grammarians’ terminology, is the departure of a noun from its original form into another form. It is: an ancient artistic style among the methods Arabic, its people knew it throughout its ages, so it was specific to it and not other languages, and what is meant by it is “the transfer of speech from one style to another, I mean from the speaker, speech, or backbiting to another of them, after expressing the first. This is what is well-known.” Al-Sakaki said: Either that or expressing one of them in a way that it is appropriate to express with another, for it is: an ancient artistic style of the Arabic style, known by its people throughout its ages, so it is unique to it to the exclusion of other languages. What is meant by it is “the transfer of speech from one style to another.” Another, I mean from the speaker, or the speech, or the backbiting to another of them, after the expression with the first, this is the well-known, and Al-Sakaki said: Either that or the expression with one of them while the expression with the other has the right .
