Dr. Saadi Ibraham Aldaragi (one of the center’s members) in the occasion of  Referral to retirement  where held on the center’s hall , the director of the center presented an essay who says:

We congratulate you, our dear colleague, on your retirement. We ask God to grant you a peaceful life and beautiful, peaceful days. Congratulations on your retirement. You were our respected professor and you are still a symbol of science and knowledge. We want your efforts to be a witness to you and not against you, and we ask God to bless you with good health and grant you success. Congratulations on your retirement, and we hope that God will place the work you have provided for us in the balance of your good deeds. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Dr. Saadi was honored with the creativity shield for his scientific and practical efforts and a certificate of appreciation from the center’s director, wishing him a happy retirement life.

 

Supervised by prof. Dr. Alaa N. Jasim (the director of the center) , the unit of Quality Assurance and University Performance in the center of heritage revival /university of Baghdad organized workshop about evaluation performance on Sunday 14^th/1/2024 where sited on Nabila A. Dawood hall in the center , the lecture is presented by Mr. Samer Haseeb who talks about The Quality Assurance Unit is one of the important units that contribute significantly to setting the institution’s strategic policies to raise the level of the center’s performance, enhancing scientific capabilities, setting systems and standards, disseminating culture, and encouraging participation in seminars, conferences, workshops, and courses. It was also explained to him how to fill out the performance evaluation form and what the standards are. Duty for the employee, teacher, and researcher. under the supervision of Professor Dr. Alaa Nafi Jassim, Director of the Center, the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad on Wednesday morning, corresponding to 10/2024, and in the hall of Professor Nabila Abdel Moneim in our center, organized a workshop entitled (Social Diversity Marketing Moral Deviations)

The lecture was given by M.D. Hossam Yassin Ali from the Center for Psychological and Educational Research, and the title of his lecture is (Gender and Procrastination in Behavioral Deviations), defining gender as the term for social diversity in the relationships, social roles, and values that society determines for both sexes (men and women), and these roles change. Relationships and values ​​according to the change of place and time due to their overlap and intertwining with other social relations such as religion, social class, race, environment, etc., recalling its history, where the concept of gender appeared for the first time in Arab societies in 1994 in the document of the Cairo Population Conference, in 51 position, and it was translated to male/female or male/female. In 1995, the term appeared again in the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, where it was repeated in 233 places, and its translation was based on the word “gender” in phrases such as “obstacles related to the gender issue.” Then a lecture by Dr. Sahar Ali Mahdi from the Center for Psychological and Educational Research, and the title of her research is (Sexual Disorders), speaking about homosexuality from the perspective of psychoanalysis.

Freud analyzes the cause of homosexuality as a result of the incomplete Oedipus complex. According to this theory, all children go through a stage in which they fall in love with their mothers and are jealous of their fathers. They want to kill them in order to have their mothers for themselves. In some cases, this does not happen and the male child remains attached to his mother. Since this desire is impossible to come true, he ends up rejecting all women and leaning towards perversion, remembering the most important factors. Which contribute to gender identity disorder, including:

1- An attack on the child by an adult

2- The child’s identification with the mother or father and his hatred for the other party who does not represent care or protection for him, which made him unable to overcome the Oedipal situation, and the child’s identification with the father or mother represents the seed of psychological illness and personality disorder, as well as a disorder in his sexual identity. ‏

 

Assist. Prof. dr. Eman Salih Mahdi (one of the center’s members)  participates the sixth festival (the spirit of prophecy) that held by Al-Kafeel Women’s Religious Schools Division, affiliated with the Office of the Shari’a Guardian for Women’s Affairs of the Abbasid Holy Shrine, which was held for the period from 3-6/1/2024 in the Al-Ameed Educational Group Hall in Holy Karbala, and included various activities, including the sixth annual international scientific conference, whose sessions were held on The hall of the Faculty of Medicine at Al-Kafeel University in Najaf. The doctor was the rapporteur of the first session of the conference, which included solid scientific research in various humanitarian specialties. The conference, as well as the festival, was successful by all standards and at a high level of preparation and organization.

At the end of the meeting, Al-Alaq thanked the delegation, wishing it continued success. Under the patronage of the Head of the Shiite Endowment Office, the respected Professor Dr. Haider Al-Shammari, and the supervision of the Director General of the Department of Research and Studies, the respected Professor Alaa Al-Qassam, the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad participated on Saturday morning, 12/30/2023, in the third scientific conference bearing the slogan ( Al-Aqsa Flood, Victory or Martyrdom) tagged (Contemporary Visions in the Humanities and Social Sciences), as Assistant Professor Dr. Wassan Hussein Muhaymid, teaching at the Heritage Revival Center, participated in her research tagged (The Social Life of Religious Sects in the Abbasid Era. The Magi as Examples) speaking that looking at The nature of the social life of the segment of the Magians in the Abbasid era is one of the topics worthy of attention to know the totality of their lives in its various social dimensions, in accordance with Islamic legislation that established mutual rights and duties between Muslims and non-Muslims, which is a necessity of coexistence between them as subjects of one society. ‏It dealt with the introduction of the Magi, their sects, their prophet, their religious books, their clerics, their houses of worship, their religious rituals, marriage and its ceremonies, and various social customs, their holidays, and their coexistence with the Islamic community in harmony and familiarity. Professor Dr. Wijdan, Anad’s teaching team at the Heritage Revival Center, researched the topic ( The reasons for the migration of Iraqis from Iraq and its impact on Iraqi society) mentioning the reasons for migration, whether financial, political, or security. Then she added that migration has positive reasons as well, including the pursuit of knowledge, appropriate work, ambition, and dreams. In conclusion, certificates of participation were presented to the researchers, wishing them continued success.

Sponsored by the president of university of Baghdad prof. Dr. Mounieer Hameed Alsai ,supevisied by the director of the center prof. Dr. Alaa Nasfea Jasim , the center organizes fifth scientific  conference (the history of sciences among the Arabs) through a period from 26-27/December 2023 where sited in the urban and regional planning hall ,the conference opened with a fragrant recitation of the verses of the Holy Quran, then the reading of the national anthem with the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs, then a speech by the director of the center welcoming the guests, and several research papers were presented, including the research of Dr. Asmaa Hamid Rashid from Al-Nahrain University, with her tagged research. The development of engineering and mathematics sciences in the civilizations of Mesopotamia, the research of Dr. Saadi Ibrahim Al-Daraji, tagged Characteristics of Baghdad Architecture,in addition to  the research of Dr. Leqa Shaker Khattar, tagged the child and his legal rights, the research of Dr. Buthaina Jabbar from Al-Museansiriya University, tagged social and physical diseases in the writings of Andalusian and Moroccan travelers, and joint research By Dr. Hala Abdel Karim and Dr. Diana Akkab, tagged building materials in Mesopotamia between cultural heritage and architectural style, and a lot of research that enriched the conference with scientific information. The goal of the conference was to convey the image that resulted from the creativity, excellence, and scientific output that was achieved at the hands of Arab and Muslim scholars and contributed In setting a clear vision for the future of this science through the various stages of history for the purpose of identifying the factors of its development and how it relates to modern science in order to benefit from it in the future. Among the conference activities, an exhibition was created by the al-Abbas’s Holy Shrine. In conclusion, the director of the center thanked the researchers and those in charge of the conference, wishing them continued success.
