The center of heritage revival in cooperation with women affairs unit organizes scientific symposium entitled ( the effect of divorce on Family disintegration( , where sited in the Nabila A. Dawood hall in the center on Monday 30th/12/2024 . the symposium enriched with scientific researches as one of Research by Ms. Maha Essam Abdel in her research paper (The Problem of Divorce: A Problem of the Age and a Phenomenon that Threatens the Social Fabric), the second research by Dr. Intisar Ahmed, entitled (Marriage and Divorce among the People of Mesopotamia), and the research by Ms. Ahmed Farhan Jassim, entitled (The Effect of Divorce on the Child’s Upbringing), and the research by Ms. Anas Ahmed Al-Mashhadani and the title of his research (Types of divorce and forms of separation in Islam) and many researches that participated in the symposium, where the symposium aimed to show that divorce and separation of the mother and father affect the entire family, especially children, as Islam approved divorce and permitted it, but it is disliked and if the Hammurabi Code indicated from the legal articles the formula for marriage and divorce and engagement ceremonies and dowry and marital rights in full, divorce also greatly affects men and women and causes psychological and social pressures. The symposium recommended the establishment of laws and procedures that limit this phenomenon and activate and invigorate the role of the social researcher and the necessity of awareness by parents to observe the correct controls in the marriage of their children and activate laws that prevent marriage and divorce outside the court and hold seminars, workshops and awareness discussion groups that urge the importance of married life and forming a family. The symposium included several interventions and participations by the lecturers and at the end, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the researchers We wish them continued success in serving our distinguished university and our beloved Iraq.

In the occasion of the global day of Arabic , the center of heritage revival organizes scientific symposium (Manifestations of aversion to the Arabic language in the modern era) where sited on the hall of Nabila A. Dawood in the center, on Wednesday 18th/ 12/2024 with presence of many numbers of professors , the lecture is presented by Dr. Khilood Hashim Alwaily (institute of fine art/ ministry of education) who talks about the great value of Arabic Which began to shake day after day in our contemporary reality due to the linguistic invasion and the drift behind linguistic duality, which has become a lived reality in our lives today that we accept and interact with, and do not move a muscle or show any treatment; Rather, we encourage and contribute to this, and we do not confront this painful reality. Al-Waili added that the Arabic language lives as a strange, weak, and fragile language, complaining in its homeland and among its people, and has become vulnerable to marginalization and scratching due to the great and diverse challenges it faces, because its children are drawn to employing the colloquial language. She also stressed that there are justifications that are closely related to this choice, which are: the importance of the Arabic language, and what is its relationship to the terms of Westernization, Arabization, foreign language, linguistic invasion, and linguistic duality, with a sense of the seriousness of the current, miserable, and complex linguistic situation in this era, which is characterized by linguistic pluralism between colloquial and classical Arabic on the one hand, and linguistic duality between two different languages (Arabic and English) on the other hand. Sponsored by the president of the university of Baghdad prof. Dr. Bahaa Ensaf and supervised by the director of the center prof. Dr. Alaa Nafea Jasim , the center of heritage revival organized the sixth international scientific conference (the history of sciences according Arabs) through aperiod from 3-4/12/2024 , the conference is opened by reading of surah of holy quran and then reading Alfatiha surah to Souls of the martyrs as well as read a speech of the president of the university of Baghdad which presented by the Scientific Assistant for Administrative Affairs Dr. Ameer Faisal Abduameer and the speech of the director of the center prof. Dr. Alaa Nafea Jasim is presented , A documental film is presented about the center defined the role of the center from its establishing 977 The Federal Integrity Commission played a role in the conference in terms of publishing posters, magazines and awareness stories through their presence in the permanent corner of the center. Many scientific researches participated in the conference that aimed to link heritage in contemporary practical reality and reveal the scientific innovations that characterized Arabs in different eras, in addition to spreading awareness of heritage among young people to preserve the cultural heritage and develop a clear vision for the future of science through the different stages of history, as modern research was presented that kept pace with the present time, especially artificial intelligence, the legacy of Arab scholars, architectural decoration, sustainable development, mental sciences, astronomy, and others. Through the scientific research presented by researchers and standing on the factors of developing heritage and its connection to modern sciences to benefit from it in the future, interventions and discussions took place on the research presented by researchers in the conference. The conference was crowned with success and distinction. In conclusion, Mr. Administrative Assistant and Mrs. Director of the Center thanked those in charge of the conference from scientific, preparatory and media committees and presented certificates of appreciation to the researchers, wishing them continued success. Within the Anti-Corruption Program and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Alaa Nafeh Jassim, Director of the Center, the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled (Money Laundering Crime) on Wednesday morning, 11/26/2024, in the hall of Professor Nabila Abdel Moneim Daoud, and in the presence of a number of professors and researchers. The lecture was given by the Legal Advisor (Manal Faeq Abbas) and the Legal Advisor (Manaf Ahmed Shaalan) / Federal Integrity Commission, speaking about money laundering, which aims to give a legal character to the funds that represent the proceeds of crimes and their returns, regardless of the type of crime committed and the description of the perpetrator. It is a process resorted to by those working in drug trafficking and transnational and unorganized organized crimes to hide the unreal source of (dirty) illegal money and camouflage to give legitimacy to illegal income. The speakers emphasized the crimes that harm the national economy and aim to combat national money laundering laws and international agreements. Including the Convention against Drug Trafficking and the Palermo Convention against Transnational Organized Crime to prevent the concealment of the true source of illegally acquired funds and to protect companies that are exploited in money laundering crimes without their knowledge. Combating money laundering is part of economic development procedures. In conclusion, the Director of the Center thanked the lecturers for giving attention to important topics that are considered contemporary problems, hoping to raise these issues in workshops and discussion groups in the future.

Under supervision by prof. Dr. Alaa Nafea Jasim (the director of the center) , the center of heritage revival organizes workshop entitled(Prediction of rain and drought among the Arab)on Tuesday 26th/12/2024 with presence of many researchers and professors . the research is presented by prof. Dr. Salar Ali Khudhair (the chief of humanity sciences department) who talks about the ways that Arabs uses to predict rain and dryness It became clear that they have many methods in this field, most of which focused on short-range weather forecasting, which consisted of observing stars and planets, sky colors, bird species, cloud characteristics, winds, and atmospheric humidity for the summer and fall months. In order to verify some of these methods, climate data on relative humidity (monthly and annual) were used for four months (June-July-August-September), and statistically linked (Pearson correlation equation) with rainy season rainfall. The results showed that the statistical relationship is weak and insignificant between the two variables. However, in general, the northern stations (Mosul-Kirkuk-Khanaqin) recorded inverse relationships. While most of the southern and central stations (where the dry desert and semi-arid climate is prevalent) showed direct correlations, meaning that the increase in summer humidity indicates the possibility of an increase in rain (autumn, winter and spring).

Dr, Alaa nafea Jasim (the director of the center) , the center of heritage revival organizes workshop entitled (The role of community awareness in combating social stigma ) according to university recommendation through spreading awareness Campaigns to change the negative sight of community towards citizens to demand a help without fear of social stigma , the lecture is presented by Dr. instructor Alaa Jawad Haneen (college of education for girls /university of Baghdad) who talks about On the concept of social stigma, its types and dimensions, and addressing the most important causes of social stigma in terms of ignorance and misconceptions of some information and the media may reinforce the negative stereotype, which contributed to the spread of stigma. The researcher confirmed that the conclusions reached by the study are the adoption of modern programs and technology in spreading community awareness and enhancing self-confidence among the target groups, helping them accept themselves, and among the methods of combating social stigma are building a supportive and stimulating academic and social environment for all students and enhancing the spirit of solidarity and support and contributing to spreading the culture of accepting others and peaceful coexistence. Prof. Dr. Wijdan Fareeq Enad /humanity sciences department) participated in the first national specialist scientific conference entitled (Social responsibility of the academic institution in sustainable development and community advancement) that Held under the patronage of the ministry of higher education and scientific research supervised by holy Hussein shrine / university of Warith Alanbyaa in cooperation with university of Kufa through a period from 23-24/10/2024 , the researcher presented a research entitled The role of Iraqi universities in promoting the culture of sustainable development) speaking about the historical roots of the term sustainable development and the role of universities in teaching its culture and the necessity of instilling its concepts in the minds of students and society. In conclusion, certificates were distributed by the respected advisor, Professor Dr. Riyadh Al-Moussawi Abu Saeeda, in appreciation of the efforts, wishing the researchers continued success in serving the scientific process, our venerable university, and our beloved Iraq

Prof. Dr. was an Hussein Muhaimeed (humanity sciences department) participated in the ninth scientific conference that hold by university of Tikrit /college of art through 21-22/10/2024 .Dr. was an Hussein presented a research entitled (the moral dimension of tolerance in the thought of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and its impact on rejecting religious extremism)that deals with The sublime principles of Islam derived from the constitution of Muslims, the Holy Quran, in preserving the rights of non-Muslims who are called the People of the Covenant. The policy of the Noble Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) with them was an application of these principles in a way that achieves coexistence far from religious extremism that negatively affects the fabric of the single society. Since the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) is the city of knowledge and Imam Ali (peace be upon him) is its gate, who overflows with mercy, humanity and moral loftiness that overwhelms all his subjects, including the People of the Covenant, its research included paragraphs starting with Imam Ali’s (peace be upon him) view of the People of the Covenant, his relationship with their religious men, granting them freedom of belief and worship, his dealings with them, his justice and compassion towards them, and his standing with them before the judiciary, then his debates with the People of the Covenant, and the conversion of many of them to Islam at his hands.
