Under the patronage of the Head of the Shiite Endowment Office, the respected Professor Dr. Haider Al-Shammari, and the supervision of the Director General of the Department of Research and Studies, the respected Professor Alaa Al-Qassam, the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad participated on Saturday morning, 12/30/2023, in the third scientific conference bearing the slogan ( Al-Aqsa Flood, Victory or Martyrdom) tagged (Contemporary Visions in the Humanities and Social Sciences), as Assistant Professor Dr. Wassan Hussein Muhaymid, teaching at the Heritage Revival Center, participated in her research tagged (The Social Life of Religious Sects in the Abbasid Era. The Magi as Examples) speaking that looking at The nature of the social life of the segment of the Magians in the Abbasid era is one of the topics worthy of attention to know the totality of their lives in its various social dimensions, in accordance with Islamic legislation that established mutual rights and duties between Muslims and non-Muslims, which is a necessity of coexistence between them as subjects of one society. It dealt with the introduction of the Magi, their sects, their prophet, their religious books, their clerics, their houses of worship, their religious rituals, marriage and its ceremonies, and various social customs, their holidays, and their coexistence with the Islamic community in harmony and familiarity. Professor Dr. Wijdan, Anad’s teaching team at the Heritage Revival Center, researched the topic ( The reasons for the migration of Iraqis from Iraq and its impact on Iraqi society) mentioning the reasons for migration, whether financial, political, or security. Then she added that migration has positive reasons as well, including the pursuit of knowledge, appropriate work, ambition, and dreams. In conclusion, certificates of participation were presented to the researchers, wishing them continued success.
