Developmental psychology goes to the fact that need and want are necessary for the continuity of life, and because of the multiple motives that drive it, needs are multiple and gradual. Since need is a matter closely related to man, the Holy Quran must mention it and address it in noble verses. From our study of these verses, we find that the Quran divides human needs into material, psychological, and moral needs, and psychologists have agreed with the Holy Quran in this. The lecturer added that there are many hadiths in which we find the Messenger (peace be upon him ) urging a Muslim to fulfill the need of his Muslim brother, and other hadiths that show the benefits and virtues of the verses and surahs in fulfilling needs. Then we find that many books have been written on this topic, which is the topic of the virtues of the Qur’an, such as the book “The Virtues of the Qur’an” by Abu Ubaid al-Qasim bin Salam al-Harawi, who died in 224 AH, who addressed many topics in fulfilling needs and achieving demands.

workshop (The role of awareness in combating human trafficking)

The center of heritage revival organizes workshop (The role of awareness in combating human trafficking)

The center of heritage revival organizes workshop entitled ( the role of awareness in combating human trafficking) in the hall of the center on Monday 16th/12/2024 , the lecture is presented by the instructor Dr. Khaled Tareq Abdul Razaq / university of Baghdad / the center of international and strategy studies who talkes about  the phenomenon of human trafficking is an international one that is no longer limited to one country, but has extended to include most countries, including Iraq, and has become commercial in nature in several forms that cannot be limited, the most prominent of which is trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation and the removal of human organs or for the purpose of conducting medical experiments ,forced labor , begging and others. Perhaps the motive for it is many reasons, including economic and social or because of the wars that Iraq has suffered from and the spread of corruption in addition to technological development, which led to its widespread spread in Iraq. Iraq has developed strategies to eliminate it, but they were not at the required level, as combating this phenomenon is not limited to setting legislative measures by issuing the Anti-Human Trafficking Law of 2012, which was plagued by many shortcomings in many aspects. Rather, it requires reconsidering many of the legislations that play a major role in its increase, as well as taking into account other aspects that have an effective role in achieving this, including activating the role of awareness in all fields, as it constitutes a real prevention. The issue of protecting victims should also be taken into account and, as a first step, treating them as people who deserve protection and not as criminals by providing All the components that contribute to not being exposed to threats and thus losing their rights, which may expose them to trafficking again, in addition to that, to ensure their recovery and integration into society, it is necessary to provide all the necessary assistance to achieve that. In conclusion, the director of the center thanked the lecturer, wishing him continued success and prosperity in serving our distinguished university and our beloved Iraq
