The center of heritage revival organizes scientific symposium (Preserving and archiving the intellectual heritage on electronic websites (Iraqi portal) :

Under the supervision of prof.Dr. Alaa Nafea Jasim (the director of the center ) , the center of heritage revival in cooperation with Abbasid shrine organized the scientific symposium entitled (Preserving and archiving the intellectual heritage on electronic websites (Iraqi portal)) it is opened by reading verses of holy quran and then read Alfatiha surat to the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, the first research by researcher Muhammad Kamal Al-Sindi from the Indexing and Information Systems Center / Al-Abbas’s Holy Shrine, and the title of his research is (Clay tablets and museum materials in the Iraqi Knowledge Portal), speaking about the Iraqi portal, its definition is the future of linked data sites that include library sources such as books, magazines, manuscripts, and museum materials that combine models, stamps, pictures, and documents. Then, the lecture of researcher Faisal Muhammad Jassim, and the title of his research is (The impact of the Indexing and Information Systems Center in establishing and developing the Iraqi Knowledge Portal project), speaking that knowledge is the basic pillar for progress and prosperity and building an advanced Iraqi knowledge society capable of keeping pace with global developments, as this center represents a national effort to rebuild the infrastructure and unify the scattered knowledge resources, as it contributes to protecting the Iraqi heritage and transferring it to future generations. Then, the lecture of researcher Ali Abdul-Ridha Al-Saadi, whose research title is (The impact of the digital map on the authority file of Iraqi authors on libraries and researchers / a case study), spoke about the impact of the digital map on documenting and organizing Iraqi libraries and the importance of documenting intellectual, cultural and literary work. These developments allow digital libraries a wide possibility of accessing knowledge sources. The conclusion of the research was given by researcher Saif Abdul-Amir Al-Marshadi, whose research title is (The digital transformation to preserve heritage, the authority file of Iraqi authors as a model), speaking about the transformation that occurred in the authority file of Iraqi authors from traditional media to digital media. Al-Marshadi added that this transformation depends on a descriptive analytical methodology in collecting data by reviewing previous studies in cultural heritage and analyzing local and international experiences. In conclusion, the director of the center thanked the lecturers and presented them with certificates of appreciation, wishing them continued success in serving our venerable university and our beloved Iraq.

Prof. Dr. Wijdan Fareeq Enad /humanity sciences department) participated in  the first national specialist scientific conference entitled (Social responsibility of the academic institution in sustainable development and community advancement) that Held under the patronage of  the ministry of higher education and scientific research supervised by holy Hussein shrine / university of Warith Alanbyaa in cooperation with university of Kufa through a period from 23-24/10/2024 , the researcher presented a research entitled  The role of Iraqi universities in promoting the culture of sustainable development) speaking about the historical roots of the term sustainable development and the role of universities in teaching its culture and the necessity of instilling its concepts in the minds of students and society. In conclusion, certificates were distributed by the respected advisor, Professor Dr. Riyadh Al-Moussawi Abu Saeeda, in appreciation of the efforts, wishing the researchers continued success in serving the scientific process, our venerable university, and our beloved Iraq

A group of holy kadhumiya shrine visits the center of heritage revival / university of Baghdad on Tuesday 8^th/10/2024 , the director of the center Alaa Nafea Jasim with the administration manager Mr. Fares Essa Fares received them where they Check out the  special latest activities with shrines with the center in addition to activate cooperation with the two centers and they present special issue of khadumiya journal by the director of their center Dr. Emad Alkadhumi who support our center and it was agreed to exchange visits to consult on future activities. The center director expressed her thanks and appreciation to the delegation, hoping for success from God for all .

The center of heritage revival /university of Baghdad organized administration meeting presidency by administration manager Fares Essa Fares with the membership of the Human Resources mr. Mohammad Hameed where sited on the Nabila A. Munaam hall in the center on 8^th/10/2024 with presence by many researchers and center’s members , it deals with future and logic plans to held the sixth scientific conference (the history of sciences about Arabs ) Which will be held by our center for two days, the third and fourth of the twelfth month of the year 2024, and the distribution of the committees for the conference, and where the meeting also resulted in giving importance to the subject of university performance evaluation forms by Mr. (Samer Hassib) speaking about completing these forms in the manner that was agreed upon in terms of the new updates issued by the university and opening the door to discussion on administrative matters and the distribution of tasks by employees in order to serve the center and serve the university and our beloved Iraq

The center of revival heritage organizes workshop

(The authority file of Iraqi authors throughout the ages

Under the supervision of prof. Dr. Alaa Nafea Jasim the center organizes workshop entitled (The authority file of Iraqi authors throughout the ages)on Wednesday 2/10/2024 where sited on Nabila A. almunam hall rganized by the Manuscripts Department at the Center, the lecture was given by Mr. (Ali Abdul-Ridha Rasool), speaking about the reference file, which is the most important tool for controlling and mastering the names of Iraqi libraries. The project was launched in 2019 with 2,000 Iraqi books and began to develop, as it has now become more than 23,000 Iraqi books. He also mentioned the axes that contributed to the formation of the project, which are the high-level map of Iraqi libraries, providing an integrated database, and collecting Iraqi intellectual output. He also mentioned that the project is managed by the Indexing and Information Systems House affiliated with the Library and Manuscript House at the Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine. The workshop included several interventions and discussions about this project. In conclusion, the Director of the Center thanked the lecturer and presented a certificate of appreciation in appreciation of the efforts made and the continuation of opening horizons of cooperation with the holy shrines.
