Under the supervision of the prof. Dr. Alaa Nafea Jasim , the center organized workshop entitled (the )effect of educational organizations In empowering rural women(on Wednesday 25^th/9/2024 where sited on Nabila A. Munam hall , the lecture presented by prof. Dr. Anas Esam Ismaiel who talked about the rural woman as she lost more of her legal and social laws according to traditional traditions but it is rather, they are remnants of pre-Islamic customs that have resisted elimination despite the passage of centuries since the Islamic message, due to the desire of the male society to prevail and dominate, as it is the one with power and strength, so it gradually returns women to the pre-Islamic customs, exploiting their ignorance of the features of their religion and the laws of their country. Hence, we find that rural society is always keen to deprive women of education so that they do not rebel against the customs of rural society, according to their claim. Likewise, educational conditions have not helped girls to learn, as many preparatory schools in rural society are still mixed-gender. The process of saving women from ignorance, backwardness and the dominance of customs is led by education and more efforts by the concerned bodies to educate them and save them from what they are in. In conclusion, the director of the center thanked the researcher, wishing him continued success in serving our distinguished university and our beloved Iraq.

Within the Anti-Corruption Program and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Alaa Nafeh Jassim, Director of the Center, the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled (Money Laundering Crime) on Tuesday morning, September 24, 2024, in the hall of Professor Nabila Abdel Moneim Daoud, in the presence of a number of professors and researchers. The lecture was given by the Legal Advisor (Manal Faeq Abbas) and the Legal Advisor (Manaf Ahmed Shaalan) / Federal Integrity Commission, speaking about money laundering, which aims to give a legal character to the funds that represent the proceeds of crimes and their returns, regardless of the type of crime committed and the description of the perpetrator. It is a process resorted to by those working in drug trafficking and transnational and non-organized organized crimes to hide the unreal source of illegal (dirty) money and to camouflage it to give legitimacy to illegal income. The speakers emphasized the crimes that harm the national economy and the national anti-money laundering laws and international agreements, including the Convention against Drug Trafficking and the (Palermo) Convention to Combat Crimes The transnational organization aims to prevent the concealment of the true source of illegally acquired funds and to protect companies that are exploited in money laundering crimes without realizing it. Combating money laundering is part of economic development procedures. In conclusion, the director of the center thanked the lecturers for giving attention to important topics that are considered contemporary problems, hoping to raise these issues in workshops and discussion groups in the future

Under the supervision by prof. Dr. Alaa N. Jasim (the director of the center) , the center organized workshop entitled ( the effect of Islamic thought on confronting terorsists)on Wednesday 29/5/2024 with presence by professors and researchers , it presented by prof. dr. Anas Esam Ismaiel (one of the center’s professors .  The workshop deals with three three basic concepts  The first: the meaning of the word terrorism in the international term, defining the categories included in this term, and the controls for determining the terminological definition of this concept.  Second: The relationship of the Holy Qur’an to the term terrorism and the verses in which the word terrorism is mentioned and in what ways it is used Third: The role of Islamic thought in confronting terrorism by spreading balanced thought, directing young people towards correct Islamic concepts, and avoiding extremism in thinking and apostasy, as they are the source of terrorist movements.

Under supervision of the president of the university of Baghdad prof. Dr. Bahaa ibrahiem Ansaf with the supervision by the director of the center of heritage revival prof. Dr. Alaa Nafea Jasim , the center organizes symposium entitled (marshes of Iraq between reality and ambition)where sited on the hall (Nabila Abdul munam) in the center on Wednesday 8^th of May 2024 . The symposium opened with verses of the Holy q Qur’an, then the reading of the Iraqi national anthem,and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah for the honorable martyrs of Iraq, and the first research by Professor Dr. Salar Ali Khadr entitled (the marshes from a historical perspective). The lecture centered on the historical origin of the names of the Iraqi marshes, and it became clear that the marshes It has many ancient names. msc. instructor Walaa Diaa Nassif gave a lecture with a research entitled (Ways to preserve the Iraqi marshes from climate change). She talked about the problem of climate change is one of the most important problems facing the world and has become the top priority of development policy makers in the world and of great global concern. The drying up of the marshes was an influential factor in showing climate changes and fluctuations. Accordingly, it is necessary to study and monitor climate conditions, analyze its data, and understand its nature. Then Prof. Dr. Imathal Kazem discussed teaching at our center and Research paper title: Using sustainable development to preserve marshes.. Talked about the sustainable environment as it is one of the modern terms for preserving the marshland environment as an environment for internal surface waters and preserving its privacy and social significance in addition to its biological diversity. This comes through concerted diligent efforts as well as fruitful and constructive cooperation by the relevant departments. The conclusion of the research was held by Msc. Instructor  Ali Abdel Amir from the Center for the Restoration of Marshes and Wetlands, present  research is (Sustainable Management of Wetlands) Highlighting the importance of the marshes in Iraq as they represent a rare natural resource that must be taken care of by the government and society by providing the necessary infrastructure to achieve sustainable development in these areas, as well as explaining the obstacles to their development and the projects that can be undertaken by the concerned authorities to sustain sustainable development in the marshes.
