Prof. Basma Khalil Namiq (college of political sciences who talked about the violence against women defined It is the violence that is practiced deliberately or exceptionally against women, whether it is physical or psychological, as it is considered the most common violation of human rights, remembering the United Nations declaration of the elimination of violence against women, as all humanitarian organizations in the world work to combat this phenomenon and mentioned that the date of 25 November is the International Day for Combating Violence against Women.
