This section is concerned with scientific Arabic manuscripts in various forms of science and knowledge in investigation, study and definition, and writing specialized research in the Arab scientific heritage in its prosperous Islamic eras, as the center’s library includes a number of illustrated scientific manuscripts in medicine, botany, engineering, mathematics and all other sciences.
The department investigated a large number of Arabic manuscripts on a day when obtaining manuscripts from official Iraqi libraries was easy for scholars and researchers, and the center adopted printing and publishing them, printing at least twenty books in all sciences and knowledge.
The Department of Manuscripts was able to open several courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the scientific and humanitarian departments in manuscripts and text verification by giving theoretical and practical practical lectures on the method of achieving texts according to the scientific method followed in university graduate studies.
