Prof. Dr. Rasha Issa Faris, a faculty member at the Center for the Revival of Arabic Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad, participated on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in the Dar Al-Salam Hall at the Union of Arab Historians, as a member of the examination committee for the Ph.D. membership \u00a0submitted by the student Shaimaa Fadel Nassif, entitled \u201cThe Intellectual Movement in Samarkand through Al-Dhahabi\u2019s Tarikh al-Islam (748 AH \/ 1374 AD)\u201d, at the Institute of Arab History and Scientific Heritage for Postgraduate Studies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The defense was attended by a number of professors and researchers specializing in Islamic history and scientific heritage.
