The classification included 749 universities from 92 countries, and the University of Baghdad ranked 161st globally, leading Iraqi universities in this prestigious classification, and among the 12 Iraqi universities that appeared in the classification, the University of Baghdad ranked first locally, reflecting its academic and research leadership. Iraqi universities came in the classification as follows, University of Baghdad in 161st place, Future University, University of Babylon, University of Technology in 301-350, Anbar University in 401-500 place, Al-Nahrain University in 501-600 place, Al-Farahidi Universities, Middle Euphrates, Tikrit, Diyala, Wasit in +601 place.
