The lecture was given by Assistant Professor Dr. Rasha Issa Faris spoke about the most important urban facilities during the Mamluk era, as the country witnessed a great scientific renaissance, as the Mamluk sultans played a role in building many religious, civil and military landmarks, the traces of which still exist. This period was characterized by great interest in the arts of architecture and engineering, and many mosques, schools, cemeteries and khanqahs were built.
