The center of heritage revival organizes seminar (the social life of slaves through Abbasid era) \u00a0: <\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Sponsored by prof. Dr. Alaa Nafea Jasim (the director of the center) , the center organized seminar entitled (the social life of slaves through Abbasid era) on Monday 23rd<\/sup>\/9\/2024 with presence of many numbers of professors , the lecture presented by Dr. Zainab Thari Husein who talks about the slave layer with the extent of the interest of the Abbasid caliphs in them, as this trade spread widely, and the one in charge of that was a group of big merchants in the copper market, and they were not oppressed, but rather they enjoyed themselves, and they even studied literature, poetry, writing, reading, and singing, and their prices increased with the increase in the qualifications they held, and by virtue of their work in the caliph\u2019s court, many of them reached power, and the paper also touched on their races, religion, and jobs.<\/span><\/h4>\n
