Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Alaa Nafi Jassim, the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage \/ University of Baghdad organized on Monday morning, corresponding to 3\/25\/2024, in the presence of a number of professors and researchers, and in the hall of Professor Nabila Abdel Moneim, a seminar entitled (Modernity and the Attitude towards Heritage)\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The lecture was given by Dr. Mazen Qasim Muhalhal, a lecturer at our center\u00a0<\/span>Speaking about the relationship between heritage and modernity and between two schools: the first\u00a0<\/span>You see that the relationship is based on freedom from traditional restrictions and openness to scientific thinking\u00a0<\/span>As for the second school, it found the necessity of integrating heritage and modernity and integrating them by focusing on heritage and benefiting from the cognitive, cultural and artistic heritage.\u00a0<\/span>It is necessary to deal with them as a dynamic and continuous process so that heritage can develop using modern technologies.\u00a0<\/span>Muhalhal added that heritage and modernity are integral dimensions of cultural and social development, and we must maintain a balance between innovation and tradition in order to promote comprehensive development and preserve cultural identity for future generations.\u00a0<\/span>Preserving heritage is important for preserving national identity<\/span><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
