The library<\/h3>\n

It is a scientific, cultural, educational and social institution. It aims to collect and develop sources of information in various ways (purchase, gift, exchange, and deposit) and organize them [indexing, classifying, and arranging them on the shelves] and retrieve them in the shortest possible time, and present them to the beneficiary community [readers and researchers] of all kinds through a set of traditional services, such as loan services, references, periodicals, and photocopying, through Through human competencies qualified scientifically, artistically and technically in the field of library and information science.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The library was established in 1977 with the first day of the establishment of the Center for the Revival of the Arab Scientific Heritage, and its beginnings did not exceed the number of books about (1721) books.<\/span><\/h4>\n

It also contains scientific books, historical sources and references, manuscripts, rare documents, periodicals, and the electronic library. There are also books on architecture and science, in addition to books in English, and there are the latest publications for the year 2011.<\/span><\/h4>\n

It also includes a wide range of specialized books on the history of Iraq in general and Baghdad in particular. It also contains British documents during the British occupation of Iraq, in addition to publications of magazines and research papers.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The library staff follows the book exhibitions, where it collects resources through exhibitions, in order to provide the library with everything that is new and useful on an ongoing basis.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Specifications of the organizational structure of the library (specialized staff):<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It is headed by an employee holding a university degree related to taking over the task of supervising and organizing the library, receiving the books and periodicals received from the various authorities, preserving the books and supplies in the library, making an annual inventory of its contents from all scientific sources, and any other matters related to the work and duties of the library.<\/span><\/h4>\n

1- Data Show.<\/span><\/h4>\n

2- One imaging device for the purpose of photographing what is needed.<\/span><\/h4>\n

3- It has been dealt with (Bibliography), which is a search for book titles according to the alphabet, and it is also in the process of making an introductory folder for the library.<\/span><\/h4>\n

1– Providing sources of human knowledge to serve the various scientific disciplines at the university.<\/span><\/h4>\n

2- Exchanging university and deanship publications with universities and scientific institutions at home and abroad.<\/span><\/h4>\n

3- Preparing introductory programs for male and female students and faculty members with the services they provide and how to use resources<\/span><\/h4>\n

4- Creating a suitable climate within the library for study and research.<\/span><\/h4>\n

3- The university’s administrative body consists of employees and workers in various administrative departments<\/span><\/p>\n

4- Researchers in various fields and topics.<\/span><\/p>\n

The library departments include:\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

References It includes documents and manuscripts with sources, as well as books and general literature, history and geography books, literature and Arabic language in addition to translations and arts.
